Overtown Manor woudl ve been lovely if only the dead flies and soft mattress weren't an issue. I expected a room upgrade or at least some welcoming gesture, yet was treated like any other guest. Almost left a good review, but simply couldn't ignore the lack of attention to detail. Disappointing overall!

overtown manor is such a cozy place! stayed for just 1 night but it was amazin. the comfy bed helped me sleep like a baby. loved the homemade snacks from nancy, her flapjacks were the best! breakfast was delicious with local ingredients, made me feel right at home.
the only downside was that i wish i could have stayed longer, and the location was a bit tricky to find at first.

Why didn't I try this sooner?
From the moment I arrived, I felt at home with delightful cake and coffee beside a welcoming fire. The luxurious room had tasteful furnishings and character. Breakfast was a feast from local produce and heartfelt hospitality sealed the stay. The beautiful grounds were perfect for an afternoon stroll. Definitely planning my return!

We loved the cycling along the Ridgeway National Trail and enjoying the scenic views of Barbury Castle. The fresh meals made with farm-grown ingredients were a hit with our family of 20, especially the cake served at check-in. Nancy's wonderful hospitality truly stood out!
